Abstract: The latest development, the Sanctuary project, is located in Sydney, Australia, and is a treasure in the luxury apartment market. In the third phase of this project, the construction of the Willow Apartments will commence in early 2024. This project emphasizes various features of modern apartment living, and three design features will be detailed below.

A crucial design feature of the Willow Apartments is a sense of space. The design and floor plans make optimal use of space to meet the needs of different lifestyles. The Sanctuary project comprises 323 apartments, ranging in price from $695,000 to $1.4 million. One and two-bedroom residences offer a variety of layouts, including larger apartment types. The design not only prioritizes practicality but also embodies a sense of luxury in its style. Spacious living areas and bedrooms, meticulously designed kitchens and bathrooms, and outdoor spaces with balconies or terraces provide residents with a comfortable and pleasant living environment.

Another unique design feature of the apartments is the incorporation of Japanese design principles. Sekisui House Australia adopts Japanese design principles in every project, adding a unique sense of luxury to the completed designs. Four key design principles form the foundation of the overall planning, revolving around a profound respect for the relationship between people and the environment. The newly created Bayside Park is a primary manifestation of these principles.

Rather than establishing isolated public parks in the overall planning, the developers minimized the footprint of buildings, creating an extensive waterfront park. This benefits not only residents of Sanctuary but also the entire community. Water features and park landscapes become focal points, and floor-to-ceiling double-glazed windows fully capitalize on the north-facing views, integrating abundant green elements into the entire site. These expansive landscaped podiums offer more outdoor spaces, providing residents with additional options for leisure and entertainment.

Thoughful amenities are an indispensable feature of luxury apartments, and the Willow Apartments provide residents with a variety of facilities such as the Coral Lagoon pool and the Revive fitness club. The Coral Lagoon pool comes with cabanas and sun loungers, serving as an ideal summer retreat in the warm Sydney season.

The Revive fitness club includes a heated swimming pool, a wellness center, a sauna, and a commercially scaled gym equipped with advanced fitness equipment. Additionally, several shared spaces are set up, such as barbecue areas and a co-working space library, encouraging community gatherings and interactions. The provision of shared facilities contributes to better understanding and integration among residents and fosters a sense of community.
