Abstract: At the end of the driveway, you can understand that you have left Sydney and landed in a luxury Balinese resort.

A home described as a "permanent vacation" has been listed for sale at 222A Warrimoo Ave St Ives Chase, with a guide price of $4 million to $4.5 million.

The four-bedroom home was inspired by the owner's travels throughout Southeast Asia and has the luxuries you look for in a resort, such as two pools separated by a bridge, a swim-up bar, tropical landscaped gardens and a gazebo with an outdoor shower.

"This is a very unique property for the North Shore," said Glenn Curran, an agent from The Agency.

"It has the vision and influence of a tropical resort, from the landscaping to every aspect of the swimming pool. It was inspired by the owners' travels in Southeast Asia and the artifacts they collected.

"Once you're in the driveway, you feel like 'I've left Sydney.'" The only problem is that you will have a hard time getting guests home."

Mr Curran said the current owners had decided to leave Paradise to downsize.

"We have potential purchasers and people coming from far and wide interested in this incredibly unique property," he said.

"It's a fairly large house with over 400 square meters of interior spread over multiple floors."

The property has been named "Temple Tree" because of a beautiful tropical plant found in many Asian countries that grows around churches and temples.

"Embark on a permanent vacation and embrace a lifestyle of absolute bliss with this ultimate entertainer's paradise infused with the aesthetics of a luxury Balinese resort," the listing reads.

"It combines a stunning sense of space with true charm and character, achieved through meticulous attention to detail and a myriad of hand-selected exotic materials.

Luxury is not limited to the outdoors, with a grand entrance featuring hand-carved mahogany doors, a modern kitchen, and high ceilings throughout the living and dining areas.

There are four large bedrooms, three of which have ensuites, while the master suite has a luxurious spa and double shower.
