Abstract: Global entrepreneur Marcello Jimenez of Anytime Fitness has bought a condominium in the Bondi Beach Pacific luxury community for $7.1 million AUD.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom Campbell Pde condo was acquired off-market and BuyerX's buyer's agent, David Turnbull, provided helpful buying advice.

The 184-square-meter apartment, which has a 33-square-meter balcony, sold for $6.2 million in 2021. It had been a furnished rental for $3,700 per week.

Jimenez lives in a trophy home in Bellevue Hill.

Anytime Fitness is the largest player in the gym sector in Australia and globally.

Jimenez became a franchisee of Anytime Fitness in Australia in 2009 and then co-founded Anytime Fitness in the UK in 2010.

He still owns and operates 18 clubs in New South Wales, Victoria and Spain.

There are currently 560 sites across Australia and 600,000 members nationwide.

Marcelo remains an active board member in the UK and plays a key role in his property promotion strategy.

While the current median three-bedroom apartment at $2.9 million has not yet returned to its median peak of $3.16 million, PropTrack calculates that the high-end segment of the market is on the rise.
