Abstract: After returning to Australia to become the new chief financial officer of Westpac Consumer and Commercial Bank, Israel Santos and his wife Rebecca have spent $3.375 million on the Newport home of Woollahra carpet dealer Robyn Cosgrove and husband Trevor.

The 1920s sandstone cottage, one of the original homes in Newport, had a guide price of $3.6 million last October and has since been gradually reduced to $3.2 million.
