Abstract: Sanctuary is a comprehensive development located in Wentworth Point, Sydney, Australia, transformed from an early industrial area. The third phase of this project, Willow, is currently underway and is designed by the architecture and design studio TURNER, with landscape design by Site Image Landscape Architecture.

Willow Apartments provide a modern and comfortable living environment, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with double-glazed glass, offering residents private balconies to enjoy waterfront views.


Upon completion of the overall project, approximately 2,300 apartments will be available across six phases. The community spans about 9.5 hectares, with a key highlight being its excellent location, conveniently connected to the Sydney city center—just a two-minute walk to the Sydney Olympic Park ferry terminal and easy commuting via the Barangaroo Fast Ferry.


Additionally, the project is positioned at the approved location for the second stage of the Parramatta Light Rail, providing residents with more convenient transportation options.


In addition to its prime location, Sanctuary prioritizes green spaces and landscape planning. The waterfront park connects all different buildings and phases, with many apartments just steps away from the water. The design of the podium gardens reflects the connection between the site and nature, offering residents an immersive outdoor experience with walking paths, bike lanes, barbecue areas, and versatile community activity spaces.

Sanctuary residents can also enjoy a range of on-site amenities, including retail, hospitality, and health options.


The Revive Fitness Club is exclusively available to Sanctuary residents, featuring an indoor heated pool, a spa center, and a sauna, along with a commercial-scale gym and rooftop fitness equipment, including state-of-the-art aerobic and strength training machines.


Revive is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by the end of next year, ready for use before the occupancy of Phase 3 in 2025.


Paul Whelan, Senior Sales and Operations Manager for Sanctuary, stated that the project provides a balanced lifestyle for residents who need to stay connected to the Sydney city center.


He said, "We are providing properties that meet the needs of people from all walks of life and at all stages, whether empty nesters, downsizers, young couples, singles, or young families." At the same time, there has been a significant increase in owner-occupiers in the area.
