The couple had listed their six-bedroom Dods and Zuccon architect-designed family home at 12 Battery St for an auction guide price of $16 million in April, which was revealed by other sources, although Sotheby's sales agent James Ball was tight-lipped.
At press time, it was unclear who bought it.
It didn't meet their initial expectations, but considering Blair and Caffrey bought it for $5.7 million a decade ago, they've done well.
They'll be heading to another six-bedroom home on Tipper Ave, a 1,100-square-metre, north-south-facing property that is the former home of Cygnet Capital's Darien Jagger and his wife Katie.
It has invested in a range of companies, including Canva, GO1, Employment Hero and A Cloud Guru, and its current holdings are valued at more than $2bn.
The Battery St residence is the perfect place for Blair and Caffrey to raise their three children, ages 18, 16 and 13, who enjoy snorkelling, boating and surfing in their ocean backyard.
They also enjoy fishing from their "boat."
It's been a busy week for the Ball team, which has closed seven sales totalling $50 million in the past six days.
